Verve Stamps manufactures their own line of high quality clear stamps designed and illustrated by Verve founder, Julee Tilman. Julee’s designs feature timeless elegance, meaningful sentiments and a hint of modern whimsy. Verve stamps are available exclusively through this website, and cannot be found in any retail stores. Verve stamps are made of high quality clear photopolymer right here in the USA. They are made of a naturally sticky substance that allows them to cling to acrylic blocks, which you can find at many local and online craft stores.
Verve is very active in the stamping community. They host monthly Project Parade contests on the Verve Blog, as well as the weekly Mojo Monday sketch challenge on theMojo Monday Blog. They also routinely check out their SCS company gallery, so upload your Verve creations using keyword Verve.

This challenge requires you to create a project that includes one or more borders. You can incorporate the theme in many ways, such as a card, scrapbook layout, mini book, tag, gift bag, box, etc. The main colors are highlighted in Polaroid inspired color swatches. For suggested colors, see Papertrey Ink’s spring moss, lemon tart, sweet blush, melon berry. Slight color changes for each hue are permitted, but try to keep the colors as close as possible to the colors listed above. White or cream are optional color choices to add to your projects to create neutrality. Outlined images in brown or black are also acceptable for this challenge. Remember, colors can be incorporated into your project in more ways than cardstock.
Don’t forget:
- Use the colors in the Polaroid-inspired color swatches (featured in the image above) and
- Use borders (i.e., border punches, die cuts from patterned paper kits, dies, stamps, etc.)
