  • Embellish Embossing Color Challenge :: Sponsored by Practicing Creativity Designs

At  Practicing Creativity Designs, we want to inspire you to create! You’ll not only find fabulous products at our store, but inspiration to go with them! As an avid stamper myself, I love to create stamps that can be used for building your own backgrounds and stamps that interact with one another.  You will certainly find both at our store!  We sell high-quality photopolymer stamps all produced right here in the U.S., with a new set being added each month. We also carry May Arts ribbons. Our store and products are still a dream come true. So, come check out our site, our products and our gallery!

This challenge requires you to create a project that uses an embossing technique. Feel free to use dry or heat embossing!  You can incorporate the theme in many ways, such as a card, scrapbook layout, mini book, tag, gift bag, box, etc. The main colors are highlighted in Polaroid inspired color swatches. Remember, colors can be incorporated into your project in more ways than cardstock.

    Don’t forget:

    1. Use the colors in the Polaroid-inspired color swatches (featured in the image above) and

    2. Use an embossing technique (dry or heat).

You have until Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 11:59 pm EST to submit your entries below.

After the challenge ends, the design team will select six designers who created hot projects to highlight. Additionally, there will be a designer who will be featured and will win the stamps pictured below. It includes the newly released stamp set, For the Love of Dots and five yards of ribbon (designer’s choice).  The featured designers and the winner will be posted next week. The winner must contact Embellish Magazine within 48 hours of the announcement. We reserve the right to select a new winner if the designer makes no contact.

Ashley used the heat embossing technique and For the Love of Dots + Look Up.

Charlene used dry and heat embossing techniques with Look Up stamp set.

Maile heat embossed the stamping on her card using Look Up.

Mariana used heat embossing on her card with Key to My Heart.
