Embellish Babies Color Challenge :: Sponsored by W Plus 9 Design
16 Comments »Posted in ChallengeJun 18, 2010
At the Wplus9 Design Studio it is all about the creativity and having fun! Our goal is to bring you inspiring design, superior quality and infinite possibilities through the highest quality of clear photopolymer stamps. Dawn Woleslagle, owner and self taught graphic artist/designer, brings you new stamps on the first of every month. From elegant to whimsical to just a bit funky, you’re sure to find something to help fuel your creativity at The Studio.
The only thing we value more at Wplus9 than creativity and fun, is you! Come stamp away with Dawn and the rest of the Wplus9 Design Team at the Design Blog. On the 28th of every month we start previewing the upcoming release, providing samples, chat, and prizes. You can continue the fun throughout the month by joining in on monthly features and challenges, by becoming a fan on Facebook, or by uploading your personal Wplus9 creations to our Flickr Gallery.
Remember, it’s all about the creativity and fun!

This challenge requires you to create a project with a baby theme. You may create anything for babies, whether it be to celebrate a new mother, a new little one, or showcase a cute baby. It’s all about babies this time around!
You can incorporate the theme in many ways, such as a card, scrapbook layout, mini book, tag, gift bag, box, etc. The main colors are highlighted in Polaroid inspired color swatches. Keep the colors of your project as close to the colors in the challenge image. Remember, colors can be incorporated into your project in more ways than cardstock.
Don’t forget:
1. Use the colors in the Polaroid-inspired color swatches (featured in the image above) and
2. To focus on babies.
You have until Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 11:59 pm EST to submit your entries below.

After the challenge ends, the design team will select six designers who created hot projects to highlight. Additionally, there will be a designer who will be featured and will win two stamp sets of the winner’s choice provided by Wplus9 Design Studio. The featured designers and the winner will be posted the week following the challenge end date. The winner must contact Embellish Magazine within 48 hours of the announcement. We reserve the right to select a new winner if the designer makes no contact.

To get everyone started, the design team has created some fabulous baby projects to share with each of you! Take a look, then get started on your own challenge. Everyone used Kisses & Cuddles stamp set on their baby projects.
