Embellish Invitations Color Challenge :: Sponsored by Unity Stamp Company

Selling rubber stamps, Unity Stamp Company is known for their kit club.  They feature new stamps every month and has a huge collection of stamps to purchase on their site for scrapbookers and card makers.  Unity also has an interactive forum on Splitcoaststampers.  Unity is known for partnering with designers who have great ideas for stamps, including Donna Downey and Melody Ross.  The stamp set featured for this challenge is no different.  Soirees & Such was designed based off an idea by Ashley Cannon Newell.  Unity unites designers with their passion.

This challenge requires you to create an invitation.  You may create any type of invitation.  On first glance, the color combination appears like a Christmas theme, but it is not required.

The main colors are highlighted in Polaroid inspired color swatches. Keep the colors of your project as close to the colors in the challenge image.  Remember, colors can be incorporated into your project in more ways than cardstock.

Don’t forget:

1. Use the colors in the Polaroid-inspired color swatches (featured in the image above) and

2. Make an invitation.

Upload a photo of your project to your blog or online gallery, such as Splitcoaststampers, Flickr, or Papertrey Ink, then copy the direct link to your project to the embedded link widget below. If you do not have a direct link to your blog/gallery posting that features the challenge, your link may be deleted. If it is deleted, no biggie, just come back and re-link the correct link! Only links left in the link widget will be considered for challenge submissions.

After the challenge ends, the design team will select six designers who created hot projects to highlight. Additionally, there will be a designer who will be featured and will win a Soirees & Such stamp set .  The featured designers and the winner will be posted the week following the challenge end date. The winner must contact Embellish Magazine within 48 hours of the announcement. We reserve the right to select a new winner if the designer makes no contact.
