Die Cuts Color Trends Challenge

This challenge requires you to create a card, scrapbook layout, or altered item using the color challenge and die cuts. We all die for die cuts in paper crafting today. So many companies are now offering die cuts that coordinate with stamps. Take this challenge and use die cuts in ways you never have before. We can’t wait to see what you create!

Upload a photo of your project to your blog or online gallery, such as Flickr, then copy the direct link to your project/post to the embedded link widget below or on one of the design team’s blogs. If you do not have a direct link to your blog/gallery posting that features the challenge, your link may be deleted. If it is deleted, no biggie, just come back and re-link the correct link! Only links left in the link widget will be considered for challenge submissions.
We will feature some “HOT” designs on a blog post about a week after the challenge ends. Check back on the blog or subscribe to the feeds so you will not miss it!

Congratulations, Laura for being our featured winner for the Circles Color Trends Challenge. Your negative die cut circles really popped for the fall season. Thanks so much for participating.
Circles are a popular element to add to all designs, including paper crafts. This challenge requires you to create a card, scrapbook layout, or altered item using the color challenge and buttons. Buttons have been a part of paper craft designs for a few years now, but with the introduction of manufactured lines that include coordinating buttons with patterned papers and cardstock, the love for this element as grown. Add buttons to your project for this challenge through stamps, die cuts, or the actual buttons themselves! Let’s see how you can creatively add buttons to your designs.

Painting and misting is a cool technique that many crafters are adding to their projects. Whether you choose a traditional acrylic paint and brush medium or a spray mist, there are countless ways to add color and design to paper crafting projects. Check out the additional top designs we had to highlight as HOT! Click on each thumbnail to see the projects in more detail. Thanks to everyone for participating.
