Leaves are not just greenery that grows on trees. They also indicate seasonal changes. When fall comes around, the beautiful tones and shapes remind us how crisp the air is and the start of many things, including back to school, Halloween, and Thanksgiving to name a few. Leaves are also great to add to paper crafting projects to express gratitude or harvest blessings. Check out the other designers featured in this challenge. Die cuts are everywhere. It all started with some basic shapes, but now you can find detailed die cuts and even some that coordinate with stamps. There are also so many techniques to use with dies and the designers for this challenge showcased their creativity. You have to check out the other designers featured in this challenge. Their “hot” die cuts are perfect ways to incorporate shapes into paper crafting projects. Thanks to everyone who joined us on this fun challenge.

This challenge requires you to create a card, scrapbook layout, or altered item using the color challenge and leaves. It’s that time of year where leaves are everywhere. They are changing naturally in the outdoors and you can also find them in stores related to home decor. Perhaps stopping into a local store, such as Pier 1 Imports or Home Goods will give you the leaf inspiration you need to participate in this challenge. There are so many ways to add leaves to your designs, including stamping, die cutting, embossing, and also on patterned paper. We can’t wait to see what you create!

Upload a photo of your project to your blog or online gallery, such as Flickr, then copy the direct link to your project/post to the embedded link widget below or on one of the design team’s blogs. If you do not have a direct link to your blog/gallery posting that features the challenge, your link may be deleted. If it is deleted, no biggie, just come back and re-link the correct link! Only links left in the link widget will be considered for challenge submissions.
We will feature some “HOT” designs on a blog post about a week after the challenge ends. Check back on the blog or subscribe to the feeds so you will not miss it!

Buttons are such a popular embellishment to add to paper crafting projects. They can be found in just about every color, size, and even shape. Now, tools exist to create your own buttons from die cuts or fabric covered. You have to check out the other designers featured in this challenge.
