Can you remember your first bicycle or learning how to ride? Bicycles are so much fun and even more so on paper crafting projects. Whether you stamp them or use patterned paper with bicycles on them, we want to see your adventurous biking side. It’s all up to you and we can’t wait to see what you create!

Chevron is such a popular pattern now that you can find on just about everything. It was so great to see so many designers using the pattern in various ways, including stamping and die cutting. Tape, specifically, washi tape is such a fun, new, trendy product that paper crafters are adding to their projects. There are so many ways to use tape, including simply sticking it on, creating some sort of background or design, or even using it for a functional purpose. You can stamp a tape effect, trim patterned paper strips and tear the ends to simulate the look, or create your own using stamps, tissue paper, and double-sided adhesive. Of course, washi tape, fabric tape, and masking tape are all wonderful to add to your projects as well. It’s all up to you and we can’t wait to see what you create!

Congratulations Nicki S.! She made an amazing shaped card full of flowers and perfectly embellished with jewels. Thanks so much for participating in the challenge. We are all inspired by your creation!

Jewels are usually the last and final embellishments added to paper craft projects, but definitely never overlooked. From rhinestones to beads, jewels are a great way to finish off a project and make it pop. All of the entries were amazing! As an update about our blog, we apologize for it being down two weeks ago. Unfortunately, it encountered an “illness” and needed to be fixed. Chevron has made a huge comeback to all sorts of designs. You can find the pattern in homes, fashion, and of course paper crafts. There are so many products that allow you to incorporate the chevron pattern into your crafts, including stamps, patterned paper, and embellishments. We also welcome you to use products in non-conventional ways to generate the chevron patter. It’s all up to you and we can’t wait to see what you create!
